Conditioning my water?
 

I've just started a new aquarium. Do I NEED to be using a product to dechlorinate the water? I prefer to use as few chemicals in the household as possible. The fish have been in for about 5 days now. If I do need to use it, what do you suggest? Thanks.

The chlorine in the water will burn the fish. thats why its good to use a dechlorinator.

you can allsoo airrate the water in abucket for a day befor use and that works

Check with your water company whether or not they add chlorine or chloramines. If they do you should use chemicals. If its only chlorine you can use a cheap product, if its chloramines you will need one that neutralizes ammonia
