New to aquariums and fish!
Hello everyone, My name is Chris, I'm 18 years old and have had an interest in getting an aquarium for a long time. When i was a lot younger my dad had a 55 gallon and for the last couple months I've wanted to get a tank for my bedroom. First i was looking at just getting a 5 gallon and a betta but then i wanted to step it up and at least be able to have a few fish in a tank. My dad and I struck a deal and he's willing to help me set up a 12 gallon being that i don't really have room for anything larger. It took me awhile to find what has seemed like a well established friendly community that I can hopefully get as much help and suggestions from before i go out and buy my tank and I'll especially need help with a fishless cycle as i don't want to use fish to do it :(
Just for further information the 12 gallon i was looking at is an Eclipse system from petsmart. |
