I need help - coral accident

My Hammer Coral feel today, landing directly on top of a Toadstool Leather. Both the Hammer and Leather are completely retracted.

Advice? What do I look for to identify damage areas?

Steve - in this case, would you dose iodine for a few days?

i wouldnt stress too much over it, i have a cap that got stung by my RBTA. its bleached in the one spot it got hit but shows great growth everywhere else

The hammer is back to normal, but 3 of the 5 stalks of the toadstool leather are still not open. I will continue to observe.

Any opinions on dosing iodine temporarily?

I personally wouldn't dose it into the tank. It should be fine. There's a chance that it may have been stung by one another, but give it time and if you are really worried then put it infront of a power head to try to blow off the potential slime, but that'd be a last resort.
