Apples for Snacks?

thinking about putting a slice of an apple in my Aquarium so my pleco's and snails can munch.

Any side effects?

That would be fine, the big question though is if they like it or not. Zucchini and cucumber are usually liked buy plecos. Pumpkins and squash as well, but those are seasonal. Cut a slice of whatever you want to use and poke a spoon though it, then put both the spoon and the food in the tank.

well i boiled some water. Droped the apple in it for 20 seconds to soften/clean it. and then i took an old Suction cup and stabed the apple on it. then suctioned it onto the tank half way. Ill Probly remove it in an hour or two if i dont see no action on it.
