i need to get a kit that does it all pretty much. it needs to test Kh too cuz im gonna be doing a c02 setup. i need an online place to buy it CHEAP. all my lfs's are too expensive..

i like big als.

would this kit suffice?

how bout this one?

I have AP and personally they aren't so good., IMHO. Hard to get consistant results and hard to read the colors.

I think for GH, KH and pH they should work fine but for NO3 and PO4, there is a better kit out there, I think Red Sea for one and Hagens for another but I don't remember.

Either kit will work but make sure you callibrate them with a known solution so you know what your results are for sure and not guessing. I recommend that for any and all kits. If you need to get a less expensive one, the AP should work fine. I may not like it but it does work well enough to give me the results I need to see.

do i need anything special for testing a c02 tank?

All you need is KH and pH to test you CO2ppm.
