would a rainbow shark be ok by ists self in a 20 high
Rainbow sharks need lots of swimming room. Think 55 gal or larger. They are relatively slow growing but would eventually need larger tank.
could i keep him in the tank for awhill until he started to get bigger then find him a new home i got him for free from petsmart he was pale when i got him and very skinny he is full color and gaining weight. he was kinda a rescue
There is a minimum requirement of 30 gallons for an aquarium featuring the Rainbow Shark, although 55 gallons or more would be much better. This is a very active species that has the potential to be very aggressive if adequate hiding places are not provided
