what are the smaller sized plecos? i have a 33 gal which needs some sort of algae control



i wanted otos but the prices here for a tiny thing is ridiculous!

on top of that you would need a school of ottos as they do best in groups. theres also cories but they need a school as well.

what kind of algae are you having problems with? cut back on feeding and your lights, possibly change out the bulbs if they are old, invest in a magnet scraper for the glass

hair algae on my plants (real and fake) and this weird kind on my wood. i got cories already and i put liquid fert once a month and i under dose the tank and the light is fairly new and just a standard flouresnt bulb.

i dont have any algae on the glass... yet.

its good that you under dose, do you know what K rating the bulb is? for example: 6500K or 10,000K
is the bulb full spectrum?

the algae on the wood is it white almost looks like mold?

Bristlenose or ABN are great I think~

im not sure about the bulb.. i dont remember lol
