burnt plec ?
ok,well i finally managed to get a picture.
i think plec has been burned from the heater,i don't know what else it could be,
so i could be complety wrong.
i would very much appreciate some input from you all on this.
Lainey---did you hit send before attaching the pic? I don't see it :-?
hang on :)
I don't know what it is but I hope you find out soon. It looks like it could be fungal, but then again, if it all of a sudden appeared (as that size) and the perimeter isn't changing it could be a burn?
IDK what a fish burn looks like :-?
it's not grown in size, :dunno:
How long has it been there and has the pleco changed his behaviour at all?
I need to go google images of fish "burn"..
to be honest i'm not sure exactly :( but it's not changed size in the last couple of days.
i have been adding melafix to the tank for the last week,as my Angel had a sore on its side.
however the plec is exactly the same as usual, comes out for food, and
eats with the others.no change in behaviour at all.
Well, that's good he hasn't changed behaviour and is eating. I just tried to google images of fish burn scarring and that was fruitless. Wish I could help...
