A lot of my fish do this. My rainbows don't do it often but they hit the hardest.

I've had little hatchetfish do this; in my case, I suspect they were checking out the hairs on my arm which likely appeared to them as possible food.

Larger fish like cichlids will "attack" an arm. I've had angelfish do this when guarding eggs/fry.

My crayfish /barb tank is good for this too. I like to feed the male crayfish by hand so everytime I have my arm in there the fish bite me in a frenzy( and they're big enough that it actually hurts a bit)! However I put gloves on to feed the female crayfish lol and the barbs don't nip the gloves at all... Don't you love having a tank that just wants to eat you haha

I've had rams attack my arm.. I hate when any fish nips me, it startles me and I usually yankmy arm in some random direction, which I'm worried I'll break something some day.

And I've been out on a river float and got 'attacked' by a large school of minnows or something. It didn't hurt, but it was a very weird sensation. Especially when I didn't see the fish at first so I had no idea what was going on.

Attack fishes! :)

Ha ha ha - I can so relate to that video. My barbs did that with every water change but only when they were young. I guess they grew out of it.

I've never been bombed by any of my Rainbows. They're the beasts of the tank but are the most wimpy when I'm changing the water.

After further testing i figure out what my little henchman were picking on.Dried up skin on my arms, callus in the palms of my hand and also my cuticle(two of them ripped a couple cuticles off and hurt like a bastard.

Now If they don't start treating their master with respect ever time i stick my arm in the tank to clean up their poop up, i'm going to hire the big boss(http://www.fishingfury.com/wp-conten...narly-fish.jpg in to) to teach them how to be respectful.

i'm just kidding, i would never do that to my babies..
