Fish Learn Quick!

Hey guys today I was taking my fry out of the breeder and putting them in my 30 gallon so they don't die from stunned. So I was really nervous putting them in because I spent 4$ on 4 fry and I was scared they would have got eaten but I took my chances.

As soon as I put them in all my fish started chasing them trying to eat them. The fry were too fast for the fish to get a hold of them. After 5 minutes all the fish stop chasing the fry knowing they couldnt catch them. Now they all live happy in the 30 gallon together. :-D

they are still going to see them as food regardless until they know they are too big to fit in there mouths.

what kind of fry and whats in the 30 gallon?

JHK30 01-17-2009 07:39 PM

3 platy fry
1 guppy fry

both around 1cm long

in the tank there is lots of fish.
gourami

serpae tetras
black skirt tetra

You got ripped off for sure. I could have given you a bagful of platy fry for $4.

Your signature says 130 gallon, just so you know...
