protien skimmer help!
 

I have a Turboflotor Blue 1000 its a new protein skimmer and I set it up to hang on the outside of my tank until my sump is ready. So far its been up 12 hours, and I have the water level right at the point where the cup narrows. I've seen zero foam at all, the water just kind of sits there and I see air bubbles.. but more in the tank than the skimmer its seems lol.

Anyways the tank is brand new, only 3 weeks old so could my skimmer be working find and there just isnt anything in there, or should the skimmer foam up regardless.. just being clear than dirty?

i hope it isnt an issue but i have editted your threads name in hopes to get more responses. "Help!" appears as if your tank just shattered or your fish has a disease. The more detailed things are the better.

as for the skimmer i personally have never heard of that model, i do know that some are garbage and some are golden so its best to read reviews before purchasing. it also takes about a week or so for "slime" to build up inside the skimmer for it to skim properly
