ragged fins and sluggishness
i have 4 three spot gouramis in a 20 gallon tank, two are babies barely at 2 inches and are gold and two are medium sized, around 3-4 inches. the two big ones are not as active and tend to hide among caves and plants. one has slightly ragged fins and keeps them closed.
i JUST changed the water and a fungus clear medicine dose. what could be the problem?
possibly high water ammonia, do you have the water parameters?
no i dont have a testing kit...i just did a complete water change though to be safe all my fish are more active already i hope their fins patch up by themselves.
Gouramis can be aggressive towards each other. The fact that only one , has "slightly ragged fins" would leave open the possibility that it was a victim of aggression.
Always handy to have a test kit to help eliminate or identify possible water quality issues.
