Used fish tank with loose trim on bottom
Hi, all! I bought a secondhand 55-gallon tank that I have completely disinfected and rinsed multiple times. I tested it to be sure that it holds water, and it does. However, the black plastic trim on the bottom of the tank is loose (not coming off, but showing a fair amount of give) on one side. Is this likely to cause me future issues? Should I somehow repair it before I use the tank? How, if so?
You might just squirt some aquarium sealant down into the loose areas. You can find it in the glue section of most home improvement stores.
Thank you both! I will do that. :)
