Sick or pregnant platy?
I have a few mickey mouse platies. I just bought my 20 gallon tank on the 27th. This is my first tank so I'm still learning. It came with the fish. At first I thought that the big platy was pregnant. However, I don't notice any graviy spots. Then again I don't really know what I am looking for because a dark circle.
The other day I noticed this weird behavior with her. I haven't been able to find any symptoms like it. She will stand straight up and down with her head down and her tail up in the air. She's doesn't go on her back. So I don't think its dropsey. I took a few pictures of her. I couldn't get her in teh straight up and down position. But I did get her standing up at a slant.
Anyone have any idea of what's wrong with her?

Anyone have any ideas?
As best I can tell, pregnant. I don't have any ideas for the head standing behavior but she does look pregnant. This thread is about as informative a one as you'll find on livebearer pregnancy. How Do You Know If Your Livebearers Ready To Drop Fry - Tropical Fish Forums
Oh boy. I am relieved that its not a parasite that is causing her to be that big. Guess I need to step up my search for another tank.
