How's about you tell us your theory first?!? :-)

Ha! Were you watching the History channel last night too?? Very interesting program on...what was his name... Edgar Cayce? However, I don't think the world will end suddenly in 2012. There've been so many predictions like this that haven't true.

That is the year I graduate from High School... :shock2:

nope. i do feel people will believe so and do some crazy things.

( Y2K anyone? )

however, there is a more concrete theory of i believe it is 2035? of a large asteriod that is earth bound.
scientist are working on a way to disrupt its path ever so slightly to avoid a collistion.
before all this there might be a world war, or even more realistic is terrible global warming issues. glaciers that were here for hundreds of thousands of years no longer exist in our lifetime, polar ice caps are melting, ive even read an article about a bees nest that had filled an entire car, yes an entire car with multiple queens and 10s of thousands of bees. this was simply because the cold wether was not prevelant to kill off the bees.
regardless your going to die sooner or later, so just live your life and make good decisions.

I loved the Y2K hoopla. I had a flight booked to Sun Valley and it was scheduled to land at 12:31am the eve of Y2K. My entire family was convinced my plane was going to fall from the sky. Needless to say I was skiing the very next day. I'm not kidding when I say they truly believed something very bad was going to happen on that flight.

I've think the way the world will end will be at the hands of mankind. Hopefully we all wise up before we let something like that happen...

The Y2K thing was a very real fear, though. It just played out that potential problems were corrected before the clocks rolled over. If, for example, they didn't fix the airplane's software to account for the problem in time for Y2K, they probably would have kept it grounded. To get an idea of how crippling this could have been if people didn't realize it in time: because of the leap second added to 2008, many Zune mp3 players stopped working. Check this article:

wow, and i thought a cold cup of hot chocolate was the end of the world.

MP3 players really can freeze?
