Rehoming question

I posted earlier about my fish tank disaster and have this question - since I am adopting 2 saved fish to a home today with a much bigger tank, can I keep them in a bucket for a few hours with an air stone??? Will they be ok before the woman comes to get them??

They should be ok provided that you can stick a heater on the bucket to keep the temp. stable.
