Very interesting mix.Your cichlid looks like one of the predatory Aulonocara. Isolate this fish before it harasses your goldies and snail. The snail needs to be separated before the goldies think of eating it. Most people were lucky to mix them with goldfish but I wouldn't chance it. The snail is better off in a 10g tank with a few more for company although one is fine by itself. I have over 200 of these snails in 12-13 different colors.

The gold fish were originally going to be feeder fish for my 10 inch Tiger oscar last summer. Then i left on a motorcycle trip came back and my oscar didnt kill 2 of the Fish. So the Gold fish started eating the broken pellets the oscar didnt want to eat. ii refused to feed the goldfish flake food cause i was still hoping the oscar would just eat them cause i didnt want any more fish. Then the gold fish and the oscars got bigger but two inches and they were to big to eat so the oscar and the gold fish actualy started hunting together. ( was weird they would attack other minnows i would drop in there) . Eventually my oscar looked uncomfortable in my 45 gallon tank and i moved him to my new 75 gallon tank. ( his current home) and just the gold fish and the pleco lived in the 45. then i got the needle fish cause he was all alone and i felt like i should rescue him.
then a week later i went to the Pet store to get minnows and i saw the Aulonocara and i instantly fell in love with her colors. I couldnt believe my eyes! they fish had to be saltwater to be that colorfull! BUT NO! IT WAS FRESHWATER FISH! and i Jumped in and bought it.

then when i went to get minnows a week later i bought the snail. So far the Tough gold fish dont get bullied by the Aulonocara and the needle fish doesnt mind any of them cause he stays at the surface. The pleco comes out only at night. and the snail does his thing without getting attacked.

I cant bring myself into getting rid of any of my fish. I feel like i saved them. I will ofcoarse find them a better home if i see that they are being stressed by each other. But so far i have not seen one little fight.

Get a spare tank just in case. You bought the aulonocara on impulse. You have to realize this cichlid can grow rather large and bulky at 6 inches and will eventually harass all its tankmates. It won't happen for now but sooner or later, it will.
