wanted: indoor pond building tips

I have recently purchased a house and want to build a pond in the basement for my turtles. i am thinking 6'L x 3'W x 2'D with a wooden box frame (2x4s and plywood lined with blanket and pond liner) i would love any tips that any of you can offer. thanks in advance.

sorry no tips, but i know im fighting humidity problems as it is with just a few fish tanks.

please post pictures of the build if you go through with it.
