can any one help i currently have 2 hammerhead corals in my reef set up and both seem to be shrinking off. Ive tested water and everything seems ok but they keep receding any ideas will be gratefully recieved
how long have you had them? More details and history would be helpful. Placement in the aquarium, water flow, lighting, neighboring corals, fish, and water specifics.
They have been in the tank about 2 months. They are placed near the top to get as much light as possible and away from any heavy water flow (just a light flow). There are no corals near them and the fish I have are listed below along with the water specifics.
Fish : pair of maroon clowns, bicolor angel, 2 yellow tail damsels, yellow wrasse and 6 hermit crabs
S.G 1.024 Nitrate 10 PH 8.2 Calcium 480 Ammonia 0
They have been slowly shrinking for approx 3 weeks and i am at a loss as why so any help is much appreciated
