Aquarium Cam live feed

Has anyone seen such a thing, and would it be a good idea to set one up?

I could imagine it could be fun to do, maybe have 3 underwater cams in different spots and angles

Could help add a different dimention to new hobbyists or existing ones

It took me a few moments to figure out what you were talking about. I was thinking about live food, and wondered... then it dawned on me you mean a live feed as in streaming video.

You mean i almost managed to stump you Byron??!!?? Yeah i meant a live streaming.

Just think its a concept that might be doable

It will be interesting to see if any members have tried something like this.

that would be sweet! i made a 10 min video of my tank an sent it to my mother. she watches it at work when shes feeling stressed. this live feed would be awesome.

Iv been toying with it, maybe finding some suitable small cameras and encorporate it into the hardscape, the fish wouldnt know any different if it was there from the begining and pay no attention to it.
Some of mine are nosey at best, always watching haha

Would take alot of planning and id have to get the funds aswell. Maybe by mid july! A guy i went to school with is a web designer, if memebrs thought it was good could set it up

Oh and did i forget do it from the start of an aquarium with it in its infancy watching it mature and the gradual adding of the fish, plants developing, a whole new world appearing in front of your eyes

I love that idea! We have cameras throughout our house that we use to watch our cats when we travel - never thought about doing one for the tank. I especially love the idea of an underwater camera!

Small cams taped to the glass work without having to resort to waterproof cameras. Easy to move around too.

Jeff.

Canadian Fish did a web cam on his aquarium some time back. I don't know if he still does it, but you might want to touch base with him, as he could give you the details of his experience with this.
