Pouyan, there is a chance one of your FHs may be sterile. Most FHs are actually sterile. Put a divider on your tank. At spawning, females have a tendency to become very aggressive and may attack even males. Not much I can say other than placing a divider between them in case they attack each other. |
THX dear Blue please give me your suggestions and comments that can help me for breeding of this pair? |

If Riccia fluitans and other plants are available in your area, get some so the fry can eat microorganisms in the plants. Here's my preferred method in raising the fry aside from the plants: Get an egg and cook it. I'm referring to the hard-boiled egg. Scrape a small part of the egg yolk and put it in a jar of water. Get a medicine dropper and get the water which contains egg yolk. Squirt that food to the shoal of fry. Proteins are available in the egg yolk so the fry get enough protein as subsititute to the yolk sac which will be used up by the fry in a few days. Feed the fry only when they are in free-swimming stage. P.S. Eat the rest of the hard-boiled egg as it would be a waste of food and money. Make sure to use a clean spoon when scraping the egg yolk. |
Something to keep in mind is that size has nothing to do with spawning, it's maturity. They may not be old/mature enough yet to do any breeding. Set up the environment and watch, but don't get discouraged if it doesn't happen anytime soon. |
THX alot dear blue & bettababy have a greenish day |
