Happy Betta + 5 Glofish can they live w a Barb?
I have a 6g Betta + harem tank. I inherited a 20g tank with a catfish and an odessa barb. Can these all live together?
What sort of catfish?
The barb should be kept in a school of at least six to thrive. I wouldn't mix the betta with the barbs as it would likely get its fins nipped relentlessly. The GloFish should mix well with the barbs, though.
what kind of catfish?
i wouldnt recomend it, but if you get atleast 6 then it should be good, but they still might be aggresive to the others, also, give the catfish a good hiding spot and he shouldnt doanything
Barbs+Glofish+Cat (if it fits the 20G) is ok.
Betta+All of the above=No. Glofish are too spazzy, nippy, and hectic for bettas, and take up the bettas swimming space. The barbs will be nippy too, and the catfish could be either good or bad.
