Colie

Folks:

I have generated this thread (believe it or not) in order to be a reference in the ongoing HITH thread.

Approximately four years ago a "puppy dog" showed up on the front porch of my offices one Monday morning and started howling.

I let him in, gave him a bowl of water and some left over steak. (A black trail was behind and underneath him wherever he walked).

That afternoon I let him out when I went home to my apartment.

On Tuesday morning he was on the porch and “when I pulled up” started twirling around.

I put steak and water on the front porch.

Once the steak was consumed the howling commenced again and I “let him in my offices” (as well the bowl of water).
This day a black trail was easily twice as evident.

Once again that afternoon I let him out when I went home to my apartment.

On Wednesday morning “same song, second verse” but when the howling started I loaded him up into the Suburban and took him to the vet’s office.
(I did a surficial examination and the “poor little feller” had a tick every ¼” on his body).

The shots and flee dip cost more than a pedigree dog and it took two additional trips to “get all the flees off of him” but

WHO CARED!

He stays with me “pretty much” 24/7 (my clients have “gotten used to him wanting them to throw his bone [yellow plastic one at the office] when we are discussing projects).

This is Colie.

Waiting but encouraging me to throw his ball.

Getting aggravated about me taking his photograph.
