Plant's Anyone ?

Hello I am planing on a 175gal fresh water planted community tank and was wandering where the best store to get the plant was I live in Newburgh Indiana , most of the aquarium stores that I have been in haven't had much of a choice and did not look to good . Thanks for any info and God Bless .

Don't know about a store, but I get all my plants from Bayleesfishees.com. The plants are great, the prices are low, and orders $20 and over ship FREE! Geesh, now I sound like a walking advertisement. But really, I got enough plants to plant my 15 gal. for $20, whereas if I had gone to a fish store I would only have gotten a max of 3 plants for that price.

Usually this site is a pretty good guide for fish stores, but there aren't a whole lot of entries for Indiana and the stores that are listed don't have much in the way of reviews. But it's better than nothing, right?

I agree though, that Bayleesfishees site really does have some great prices. Usually, buying plants online is a bit of a pain since you have to pay shipping, but free shipping on orders over $20 is great.

And if you're going to be aquascaping a 175 gallon tank you're probably going to spend more than $20.

Some other sites I'd recommend are Aquariumplants.com and LiveAquaria.com. While the shipping is often the biggest factor, the quality is almost unmatched!

Good luck! :)

You could also post a wanted ad in the Classified on this forum...sometimes good stuff pops up. But yeah...Baylees rocks.
