Sorry I've been missing!

Hi Everyone, I just wanted to let you all know that I'm sorry I've been MIA, and I'm back! :D

Things have been insane in my life recently. I was offered a job at my LFS, Skipton Pet Center, and happily accepted. It's been an incredible learning experience already, but also an increased time commitment. On top of that my laptop was broken, and I had several friends visiting from other countries.

While I've been gone I've added quite a bit to my menagerie! Another few bettas (can't ever resist :P), two female puffers (c. lorteti), two incredible discus, my first ever reef tank, two poison dart frogs, two hamsters and a beautiful baby corn snake. Phew, busy!

So, thanks for the understanding guys, and I'll see you all in the forums ;)

Welcome back!

So...is Skipton Pet Center located in your house?

Hehe, thanks Jim, I'm not that much of a crazy person! You should drop a line in you're ever in Boston though, you'd die if you saw some of the fish I see for sale by wholesalers :D

Unfortunately, it's not that exciting. I knew if I got a large tank, I would spend tons of money on coral, so it's a 2.5 gallon pico. 18 watt aqualight mini, aquaclear 20, and some ridiculously bright purple live rock which is just chock full of nicely established critters. I can't wait to start adding coral! Although it's never gonna house fish :P

So...sexy shrimp, right? ...Right?

okiemavis 10-25-2008 01:05 AM

You know it! Although I'm actually thinking I want a Harlequin shrimp, since I've got access to plenty of tasty starfish (or starfish bits).

I missed all my fishforum friends- how are you Jimster!?
