29 gal stocking suggestions

Im new here and am looking for some suggestions. I have a FW 29 gallon with 1 angelfish, 5 khuli loaches, 2 cherry barbs, 1 female betta. Looking for some ideas of what to put in. I havent had the best luck with the cherry barbs so I will probably be moving those two to another tank and possibly moving the betta as well. Im really open to anything.

I reckon maybe get a few dwarf chain loaches, and maybe a few Botia Kubotai...

For mid level water fish, i reccommend getting 10 or so serpae tetras / 5-10 CPD's(Celestial Pearl Danio)

well i think my bottom may be pretty full with the khuli loaches. But something like the the serpae tetras or sometime of danios sound pretty good.

For the top, maybe some kind of Dwarf Gourami?

I also second some sort of Tetras. You just need to make sure they would be big enough to not be eaten by the Angel (Neons), and not be as spazzy and nippy. Serpaes may nip at the Angels fins.

The celestial pearl danios are realllllllly tiny little guys, and at $8 a piece, I wouldn't want my angel thinking they were snacks. Non-tiny tetras or rasboras would be good.

woops..... hehe sorry bout that, forgot how small they were, but they're kool little fish....

Umm, maybe a few tiger barbs? They have a decent temprament, don't think they'll really annoy anyone in your tank...

yea im thinking some non-tiny tetras may be in order. Im not sure ive seen the celestial pearl danios. i do like the long fin danios. I really want to do tiger barbs but a lot of places think that they will nip my angel...

How about lemon tetra or rummynose? I think danios might be too hyper for the angel.

If your thinking tetras just go with serpae tetras. Pick up 6 or more and you won't see any problems. I only have four and I've never seen them nip anybody but themselves.
