How Does Your Significant Other Feel About Your Fish?
 

Simple question, how does your significant other feel about your fish? Do they love them, can they not stand them, do they do their best to ignore them?

She likes them just as much as I do. But she makes me do all the dirty work. LOL!

Oh, what a sore subject in my household. I get the "you care more about the fish than you do me" but then he gets majorly excited when he finds a new "deal" on a nice tank on Craigslist. I take it as a great sign that he's on Craigslist looking for tanks, especially since I didn't ask him to look! It looks like I'll be getting my 200 gal sooner than I thought!!

The fish are admired from afar and everything is rosy until I decide to spend wads of cash on new fish/equipment :rolleyes:

Hubby loves my bettas and his aquatic frogs, but could care less about the 29 gallon. Guess who ends up cleaning all of it though? Not him.

And yeah...he just groans and looks the other way when I'm on the Big Al's site.

Sounds like my house. My wife really enjoys my tank and is happy our kids love it to. She bows up anytime I talk about spending money on it though.

I've taken to telling its cheaper than golf.

My girlfriend calls me dork when I spend a lot of time on the forum or reading up on the subject, but she's the one responsible for getting me into this hobby so she has no room to complain. She also has a few tanks herself. She also has no problem with taking trips to the LFS with me to just check things out or buy fish/supplies.

my wife don't care too much as long as i keep up the water changes and as long as she dosent have to do them. haha the only thing she does is turn off the lights at night when im at work.:)

My husband claims that he doesn't really like them, but occasionally he notices that one got big and then he is excited. Granted it only lasts about 30 seconds

You dont have this problem if you are single ;-) haha
