brackish cycle?
 

Hi Everyone - I'm not sure where to post this, (in FW or SW) - I'm cycling a tank which will end up holding low end brackish water (0.007-0.008) - I want to start to slowly add the salt to give the bacteria time to acclimate.

I almost did it last night but then I got paranoid that once there was salt in the water, I wouldn't be able to use my API freshwater test kit to test levels. At the same time, I don't ant to buy a saltwater kit if it isn't going to work for low-end brackish water.

What should I do? Some of you must have brackish setups - what do you use to test them?
