Any anime fans?
In an effort to make this another branch of my online family Id like to know the anime fans out there. What you like what you dont, what youve seen, what you will see.

For example, my current favorite is Soul eater, Have seen and continue to watch each new episode of bleach and naruto (hence my avatar).
Some of my more favorate mini seris are Photon, Sayonara Zetsubo Sensei, and Tsubasa reservoir cronicles. And some shows I have ready and waiting are Ouran School Host club, Yu-gi-oh season 0 (this never came out in america and is NOT like the card show youve seen on tv, this is demented and not intended for children, but best of all is the REAL show not some spoof or spinoff)
Soul eater AMV is the amv Ive done, more to come, subscribe if you wanna keep up with what Im doing. Tell me what you think Im looking for constructive criticisim.

Lol I don't know if this counts but my sister got me hooked on this and I watched the whole season YouTube - ginga nagareboshi gin episode 1 part 1
its called ginga nagareboshi gin, and the second season is about the dog's son weed. Lol I watched that one too I feel like a nerd telling people this (Oh wait I'm already on a fish forum haha) But yeah I was hooked on this show for a while there. Its just anime dogs killing each other but theres a good story line. Lol and in pretty much every episode a main character dies, its epic.

Most anime really grates on my nerves, but there are a select few I've enjoyed. Hellsing was pretty good, and I really like Trigun. Ghost in the Shell is pretty cool, too.

that dog anime does look pretty cool.
And batman, those are also some of my more favorite ones. Hellsing made me cry at only 13episodes =(

But you arent an anime nerd unless you know what I mean when I call myself an otako. (without looking it up) Its worse when you can type in Japanese.

I guess I'm not an anime nerd then... Any good ones I can watch?

Ps the dog one is sooo good. Lol I don't know why but I'm hooked.

Yea, theres lots but many of the ones I watch involve complex cultural references. One of the standard starter animes for you could be Gundam SEED or Blue Gender (gundam is 50 episodes whereas blue gender is only 26) Or you could start on a super series of which there are 4 that i know of, Bleach (7/10), Naruto (english version 4/10 japanses w/ subbs 8/10), Dragonball and Dragonball Z (havn't watched it through) and One Piece (of what ive seen 7/10)

Get ready to lose a significant part of your life if you tackle a super series though. The shortest one is Bleach at 189 episodes and counting. And naruto is 1-351, then shippuden 1-79 (and counting).

I have over 1800 anime episodes on my harddrive and have deleted about 400, so yea, im addicted.

Lol I love dragon ball Z, I used to watch it sooo much when it was actually on tv and I was younger and watched tv lol. My sisters watching one called wolfs rain, I haven't checked it out yet but she says its cool. She is obsessed with dogs and wolves so pretty much any anime I know has to do with dogs.

Do you play dragon ball Z video games? I had one for game cube, I can't remember what it was called but I kicked butt at it.

Cant say that ive played the games much at all, but wolf's rain is quite good too.
