R.I.P. Wanda (tragic story!!!!!!!!!!!)

wanda was my 5 month old female betta
i took her out of her tank to clean it
i had put her in the cup from which i had bought her in ( i always do that when i clean it)
my clumsy friend was playing around in my room
she was sitting on top of a stand
and my friend knocked her cup right in to my oscars's 50 gallon tank.
my oscar swallowed her whole.
i was in so much shocked
i statred at my oscar
he than opened his mouth and i saw her alive in there and she was still breathing.
i quickly grabbed a fish net and push the oscar with it.
he then flipped over and spit her out.
she quickly swimmed up for air.
after that i grabbed her
and put her into her tank. (a 5.5 gallon tank)
she had a few missing scales so i doesed the water with betta fix
sadly about 5 hours later she died.

i dont know what the cuase of her dead really was
becuase during those 5 housr she was eating and swimming happily

I miss my first female betta wanda.

oh no that's awful,i'm so sorry you went through that. :(
could have just been the stress of it all,a bit like an
after shock. :(

I'm sorry to hear that.... I would say it was probably the shock too that got her in the end. I also lost my first female betta recently - a cray got her. I found her skeleton on the bottom of the tank...

If the oscar really got her like that, it's also quite likely she had some serious internal injuries.

Sorry to hear about your loss.
