Platys Anyone own some of these? I'm thinking of getting my 5 gallon tank from home and I know not to much can go in there, but I was either thinking of getting some platys again... love those little stinkers! Or, possibly I may move some fish from my ten gallon to my 5 gallon. If I do that, which ones would you suggest I move if any? I have 2 red eye tetras, 3 bloodfin tetras, 2 mixed fruit tetras, and 2 otto cats. I also might still have another 10 gallon tank also, but I can't remember. |
platys are fun, however they breed like rabbits. :) i have some, and i love them to bits, males will harasse the females so one male two-three females.the females will probably already be pregnant, and they can also hold sperm for a long time. |
I would keep the tetras in the 10g and put the platies in the 5g. The tetras would benefit from the extra swimming room. |
Ok, well I already have all my tetras in the 10 gallon. The 5 gallon I own isn't even where i live and not set up at all. |
