chrisandmarie 10-05-2008 03:32 AM

chrisandmarie 10-05-2008 03:35 AM

just checked again shes open quite big ,then closes shes swimming back and forth up and down the birthing tank http://www.fishforum.com/userpix/917...008_1439_1.jpg[/url]

hmmm maybe shes ready then.
just wondering,as i've never had a guppy in a breeder,
do you ever put a plant in them to give the fish a little
somewhere to feel privert. ? ?

chrisandmarie 10-05-2008 03:43 AM

no should i as i have noticed the males hang around the birthing tank when a female is in so maybe she feels unsafe

chrisandmarie 10-05-2008 03:49 AM

just put a plant in so it covers the back so the males cant see her lol ,my other guppys babys doing great

willow 10-05-2008 04:04 AM

interesting! has she stopped swimming about so much now ?
glad to hear the fry are doing well.
:)
