Here is another batch of fry.It is impressive for a small fish. The swarm is the biggest I have ever seen.I'm guessing around 300.
Since I have been feeding her the veggie and liver diet, she has grown, her colors are brighter and it seems as though it helps in eggs production.
Before anybody kicks my butt about the algea on the glass---I have no pleco in this tank,it is very slow growing, and I keep the entire tank wiped clean at water changes.except for an area on the back glass for the snails as you can see the marks were they eat.
Wow.. that certainly is a lot of fry! Great picture Brian :)
thank you kate!!!
haha never even saw the algae till you said.
anyway it's your tank so.................your algae. :)
anyway the fry are fantastic, and so many :)

If I even get with in 3 feet, she lets me know to BACK UP!!

No!! she is a great mom.
Willow--Her face looks like that because she is flaring out her gills to look fiercer. They all do that when defending, fighting, sizing up.
Sparky is awesome and so are her babies!!
The babies are adorable, and mom is gorgeous and healthy looking. Great job! She looks like a great mommie.
