Starting again
 

As some of you already know, I had a whole catalogue of disasters with my main tank which lead to the loss of a great deal of my fish, and most of the plants. I was gutted about losing both but attempting to get things back on track now. I managed to save a few of the plants, but the tank looks incredibly bare.

I ordered new plants today and was disappointed to see that the company I have used for the past few years (Greenline Aquatic Plants) has ceased trading, so I had to go with a new one. I ordered the following

Potamogeton Perfoliatus
Pygmy Chain Sword
Hygrophila Polysperma
Crypt Wendtii
Crypt Becketii
Gymnocoronis Spilanthoides
Crypt Lingua
Willow Leaf

Anyway, thanks for looking and I'll post up some more pictures during the week when the plants arrive, and also pictures of the tank progress.

sorry about your loss.. if you don't mind, what happen to your main tank?

Firstly both lights went at the same time while I was away and my plants suffered very badly. Then my fish started to die off very rapidly for some mysterious reason - I never got the bottom of it.

I've added some tall vallis as a background (thanks Willow!!) and hopefully the plant order will arrive next week at some point. I'll post some pictures up soon :)

Hope to see some corys scurrying about soon!

Thanks 1077 :) I have four sterbais left. I'll give it a couple of months to be sure everything's settled down and get them some buddies :)
