the image doesn't show up for me.

Ditto. Based on the description I would guess that it's a pictus catfish, but I can't be sure without a picture.

Hope this works, the other one was there. I do believe it is a Pictus after looking at the pics but take a look.....

bigk_54 10-01-2008 01:45 PM

oh yeah, and is it normal his eyes look like that?!

I have a pictus and while his barbels are very long like this picture, he has much more silver to his coloring than this photo. Those eyes do not look normal.

Is it possible to get a side view pic? It's kind of hard to see him from that angle.

And yes, his eyes do not look normal.

I would but he is too damn fast of a swimmer when he finally does come out. His eyes have been like ever since I got him. He seems like a happy feller always swimming around and eating. Ill see what I can do about a side shot

These are as good as I can get right now. He is more silver than he looks cause he by a purple fake plant, his color on camera really don't come out well! I can't seem to get a whole view of him

His tail region

This is almost his whole body minus his head

Looks like a PICTUS catfish to me. www.planetcatfish.com should provide you with more info on your fish. I do know that they need lot's of swimming space. :)
