bristlenose attacking a mystery snail Hi One of my huge bristlenoses took to sticking to one large and old mystery snail from the door point. It looks like he is chewing on something. The door looks spoiled. And at first I thought that the snail was dead, but then I noticed that it hastily crawls in as that monster attaches himself to its shell. Should I remove the snail? If the door is deteriorated, the snail would die, wouldn't it? What does the bristlenose search for in that snail, they are not generally meat-eaters, are they? |
hi perhaps there is some algae on the door ? remove him i say,if you can to another tank. |
yea i agree with moving him. my bristlenose was once sucking on a recently dead platy (graphic sorry but just to prove a point) so i think they might try and get an easy meal? dont know if thats true though. good luck :) |
I have moved the snail out but there are many relatives of him still in that tank with that monster  |
hmmmm well you may have to make a snail tank. |
