Can I keep An oscar in a tank with some plants?

Tiger Barb x4
Bala Shark x3

I would say probably not. Your tank is a 55g, right? You would need a much bigger tank for most of those fish. The barbs and possibly gouramis would be ok, but a standard pleco needs about 75g once it gets full grown. The balas need a six foot tank to feel comfortable and would be better off in a larger school. The oscars are generally not good community fish as they can be very aggressive and predatory. They would do ok with the pleco and possibly larger bala sharks, but might get in fights with the gouramis and might eat the barbs. Also, they might get in fights with each other and you'd need a much larger tank to house three of them.
Not for long. The oscars will dig them up or destroy them.
Looks like I wont be buying oscars!
