Floating Plants for Betta tanks?????
Okay I have three tanks that I want to get floating plants for...here is the run down
two Coralife Colormax 6,700°K full spectrum lamps, 10 watts each
java moss, ludwigia and lutea planted
incandescent blue plant bulb by aqua culture (planning on getting a coralife for it)
fluorescent light (not sure the wattage bulb just came with hood)
will house a Betta
What is a good floating plant to get that would suite all three tanks?
Where can I buy the plants online? (I dont live near a LFS LPS or chain Pet stores)
Thanks for the help
I've had a lot of success with both hornwort and water lettuce. Duckweed would also be a good choice.
Water sprite is also a nice floating plant, my beta and gouramis love it.
I purchased from www.liveaquaria.com and the plants arrived packaged beautifully (and properly). They are very heathly plants but a bit pricey. I have another shipment coming in from www.bayleesfishees.com.
Bayleesfishees has GREAT pricing and free shipping w/ orders $20.00 or more. I'll update once I receive.
cool thanks all
My plants from bayleesfishees arrived in very good condition, and the price is GREAT! I will definitely purchase from there again.
