Need help! For japanese koi
How to make my japanese koi grow fast ?! I got 3 ki utsuri's, 2 platinum ogon's, 3 orenji ogon's, 1 kujaku, 2 kohaku's, 1 sanke and 1 tancho 3"- 7" Thanks.
IMHO at least a 200 gal. aquarium . Filters capable of moving 1000 gal. of water per hour, Regular water changes, and foods rich in vegetable matter. You would ultimately need a large pond to support this many koi.

Hi Rise. Making an outdoor pond for your beautiful Koi would make them grow larger faster as long as you make sure that you keep up on water changes and have a filtration system large enough for the size of the pond and the amount of fish in that pond. I have a great diagram if your interested.

a large set up, good water conditions, water changes, and feeding habbits will help make the fish grow faster but ultimately IMO they are only going to grow as fast as they will grow.
they will grow alot in the first year or so, so just have some patience and do things right and there shouldnt be a problem with growth.
