how to id a snail

i have a snail that must have hitchhiked into my tank off of some plants i bought. it looks similar to an apple snail. but its not very big yet only a quarter of an inch or so. i dont have any live plants anymore and so far i have only found 1 snail. i could catch it with a tiny effort but if i dont have plants anymore and its the only one in the tank do i have anything to worry about. sorry but this is the best i can get for a pic.

this is in my 29gal with 7 kuhli loaches and 11 harlequin rasboras.

Its really hard to tell, but if the spirals on the shell don't stick out, and it looks like it doesn't in that picture, then its probably a ramshorn snail. Good thing you don't have live plants, its their favorite snack.

It shouldn't be anything to worry about. There's not really any snail to worry about, unless there's plants in the tank.

good eyes littlefizz that was like the worlds crappiest picture too. your right the shell kinda spirals over itself it doesnt stick out. how big do these guys get? anything i should know about them, how do they reproduce? that kinda stuff.

well it was planted until yesterday. i cant seem to get anything to grow for me, not even java moss lol. but i have fake plants now and they look way better than dying real ones.
