Temperature in Breeding?

I was just wondering that if you either raise or lower the temperature will it speed up the growth of platy fry? And would a pregnant female give birth quicker? If so what is an Ideal temperature, and are there any other ways to speed up both processes?

Thanks

don't do anything apart from keeping up the regular
tank maintainance, anything else will stress her out,
and she will probably abort the fry befor they are ready.
she will have fry every 3-4 weeks anyway.

I kept guppies at 82 and they bred like crazy. I'm not sure how much raising the temp will effect fry growth, but bringing the temp up to 82 wouldn't hurt, and it will certainly make your platy reproduce quickly.

The higher temperature will increase metabolism and therefore increase the growth rate of the fish. However, it will simultaneously decrease their lifespans (because they age quicker).
