What type of fish do you keep? Would love to hear about your tanks.

Lets see...I have 5 juvi jacks; 6 black spotted barbs as of today; about 15 tiger barbs; 4 gold guromis (please forgive my spelling) ; 4 pearl guroumis (still doesn't look right lol); 6 yoyo loaches; 3 mini plecos; 10 small silver tetras; a few others mixed up in 2 planted 120g tanks...(well 2 until my jacks grow and start tearing up my plants anyway)...the jack dempseys are rather small right now and but once they start to partner, one tank will be strickly community and the other my larger fish like the jacks and spotted barbs - i will have to remove the other none paired jacks to avoid a blood bath may replace with another large cichlid...

Hi...writing from my work desk, acting like I'm busy!!!....hee hee tank is a bit worse for wear and tear in my garage but still running (needs cleaning bigtime), nothing all that other is in my dining area - this one has my focus....but debating which I sould keep my cichlids in (lightly/medium planted) and which one should be the community (heavily planted) once I get the garage one up to par....right now, It's not critical as my jacks are so small...also considering a lone oscar, but if I get that I'll have to make my descion rather quick as these guys grow and grow....attached is an image of one tanks early on, before the plants filled in (long before the jacks)....trying to identify the plant with redish/light green "lilly like" leaves to the right of the pic next to the twigs...any ideas? I got it from a ma and pop fish store and it was un-labled - wanna get more....more later, better get back to work! Thanks everyone!!!

If you have the room Oscars are great! Probably one of my favorite big fish. If only I had space for a huge tank in my little house
