120 Gallon Tank - How many Inverts?
 

I am setting up a 120 gallon tank. I am NOWHERE near adding livestock, but was just have a question for the future.

I will have a 120 gallon reef tank. How many inverts should I add (in the future)? I would like as much diversity as possible (crab, snails, shrimp, stars, small lobster??). Any diversity is great.

The answer is based on the exact layout of the tank. You will have literally 75+ blue leg hermit crab, 50+ nassarius snails, 25+ turbo snails, several starfish, shrimp, etc, etc.

The real excitement comes from the diversity of life that you introduce on the live rock. You will have a gazillion small starfish, feather dusters, and other various critters of tiny size.

This does not even include the corals which you will buy.
