Mondo Grass

I have noticed that some plant vendors have mondo grass for sale. I am curious if this is the same type that I have growing in my garden. It looks similar. I am assuming it is not, but it can't hurt t ask.

Probably is the same thing. I know that Mondo grass isn't a aquatic plant. It will last several months in the aquarium but it will eventually die. I have no clue why stores/vendors sell this plant among other none aquatic plants as "aquatic" plants.

I used to see Mondo Grass at Petsmart all the time, but I think they finally stopped selling it when enough people complained. While it can last submerged for quite some time, it will eventually rot away.

Mondo is most definitely not aquatic. Although it looks nice, it won't last just as the others say. Its more for a situation where it to be grown emersed in a tank such as a water area and a land area. A Paludarium is what they call them.
