Came back home from work today to see 2 of my Angel fish have 'Spawned'.
They've spawned and attached their eggs onto a leaf that I have in my tank.
What should I do next?
I don't know if they are even fertile or even how much time has passed since they have spawned the eggs, but both of the Angels are protecting the eggs vigorously against any and every other fish that I have in my tank..
I have a breeder net, I can also pick up a small extra tank / heater if needs be.
Is this first time they laid eggs? Is it first time you have had angel eggs? If they are just beginning thier spawnings..many times it is a good idea to just see what they do the first few times. Some pairs will lay three or four times a month, some just once in awhile. New pairs are notorious for eating eggs, young, whether scared or confused. If you are not desperate for this clutch..do your homework and get prepared for great joy with baby angels. Maybe best just let parents do natural til you see how they maintain.
