giving birth

my platys has been prgnant for a while now so i was wondering how long will it take for all the fry to come out from the first to last

there really isnt a solid answer on that.. i personally would keep the babies in the tank with the parents, that way some get eaten and maybe a few will survive.. that way you got free high protein food and only the strong survive.. lol.. however if you want the majority to make it, i strong suggest removing either all adult fish, or all fry to a seperate tank or providing as many live/fake plants, and/or hiding decorations as possible or putting them in a breeding net.
