Re: are my sailfin mollys pregnant if so how far to go
The guppy and the light colored dalmation appear to be further along. All appear pregnant. They can take FOREVER it seems when you are waiting. Some folks claim the anal area becomes more squared looking when viewing the fish from behind or below. I once actually watched a very large orange sailfin molly of mine have her babies. It was a process that took approx an hour and a half. She slowly circled the tank the whole time she was dropping her young and they quickly darted for the safety of the plants. I would be careful with the young . The other female and the guppy will eat the young of the one who drops first if they are able. :)
