I have a Paradise Gourami in my tank and for whatever reason when I looked at him yesterday he looked ok, or at least when I remember looking at him yesturday he looked good. I was did water maintenance on my tank and don't remember seeing anything out of the ordinary with my fish.
Well today when I make some adjustments to my tanks plumbing (moving air hoses, and air stones) I see that my paradise is messed up pretty bad. I don't know if he got into a bad fight with another fish (I have 4 panda Cory's, 1 Matae Cory, 2 Gold Gouramis, 1 blue gourami, and 1 opaline gourami. +1 sick Paradise Gourami,) or if he is sick from disease or environmental hazard.
I am uploading pictures of what he looks like, it looks like there are chunks of scales missing, in front of his top fin, in front of his anal fin, and behind his gills the scales are turning brown.
I'm also noticing that my opaline is occasionally rubbing up against the glass now. Any Help would be greatly appreciated.
Could you post water readings for ammonia, nitrite and nitrate?
What size is you tank, and how long have you had the current fish in it for?
