I breed zebra nerites?

I have seven zebra nerite snails in my planted tank. Recently, I started to notice some little snails in my tank. At first, I thought they were ramshorn or pond snails that came in with some plants. But they are getting bigger and I'm starting to notice faint stripes on their shell. Are these just ramshorns or pond snails, or are they really zebra nerite snail babies?

They're ramshorns, which can also have stripes. Nerites need brackish water to breed.

I have read that they can breed in freshwater if its hard enough. And my water is pretty hard. Also, theres some salt left from ich treatment, and my driftwood piece has several white dots.

Maybe, but I still doubt it. Nerites are rarely bred within the aquarium even in the best of conditions...

Also, the salt you used was probably freshwater aquarium salt, which doesn't really effect salinity the same way marine mix does.
