Homemade cichlid recipe question
Ok, this is what I bought. I need some advise on how to prepare something from this.I know I need a blender,baking sheets,wax paper.
Fresh Chicken Livers, still looking for beef heart.
2x-packs of unflavored gelatin(4- 1/4 ounce packets per pack)I think this is more than enough gelatin.
Any suggetions of how to prepare a frozen food for my Oscars/Convicts.

I'd add some spirulina powder to it. You can buy it at most health food stores.
Oh yeah, forgot bout that! I have spirulina pellets that I will add. Thanx for the heads up!

got it all whipped up and done. It took me about 2 hours, but its my first time. Its seting up in the freezer.It smells better than this taco bell burrito im eating :D
If you decide to make more in the future, I've found fresh beef hearts for sale at Asian specialty grocery stores.
boiled the liver,pulverized the fish food/spirulina,krill,shrimp,veggies,garlic.
pulverized the cooked liver,mixed it all together (awww smells good!!).It reminds me of vomit when I look at it.
used the boiling water from the pan of liver to disolve the gelatin,mixed it in,poured it into a 1 gallon ziplock and smoothed out the air bubbles,popped it in the freezer. I tasted a piece,Its really good .
